Full Steam Ahead is building a data base of local shows and venues.  The goal is to make this part of the FSA site user friendly and searchable.  Look for updates to this partial list to come in the near future.

Virginia

• The Bottom Line Tap And Grill  at 1814 E Main St. in Richmond, Virginia (804-644-5944).  Click for a map to The Bottom Line Tap And Grill.

• Bull Run Regional Park  in Centreville, VA.   Directions: From Northern Virgina / beltway Rt. 495, go out Rt. 66 West to Exit 52 (Centreville Route 29 South).   Left of Bull Run Post Office Road (Following ALL signs to Bull Run Park).  Continue following the Bull Run Park signs around the sharp 10 mph turn to the right.  As soon as you cross over overpass over Interstate 66 make immediate left towards shooting range.. Follow the road straight ahead... passing the shooting range... and forward into the Special Events Center.  To the back you'll see the Box Office and stage.

• Cary Street Cafe  at 2631 West Cary Street in Richmond, Virginia (804-353-7445).  Click for a map to the Cary Street Cafe.

• Clifford Park  (the Cecilfest place) at 962 Patrick Henry Highway, Amherst, VA.  Click for a map and directions to Clifford Park.

• Fast Eddie's at 9687 LEE HWY in FAIRFAX, VA (703)385-7529  A great club with pool in the back and live entertainment in front.  There is NEVER A COVER and this is a popular hangout fot the after work crowd.  Food available till 1 a.m. and always full of people.  

• Fat Tuesdays  at 10673 Braddock Rd., Fairfax Virginia (703-385-5717).  It's always Mardi Gras at Fat Tuesdays.  Their menu, directions, and more are on their web site.  "Fats" is located in the rear of the University Mall, right near the intersection of Braddock Rd and Rt 123 in Fairfax.  You won't see it from the front of the plaza - you have to drive around to the back where you would expect to see loading docks, etc.  Click for a map to Fat Tuesdays.

• Firehouse Grill  at 3988 University Drive in Fairfax, VA (703-383-1030).  It's right down the street from George Mason University, and on the same block as T.T. Reynolds.  The venue used to be called Crossroads, but is now under new ownership committed to making it happen. ks, etc.  Click for a map to Firehouse Grill.

• Grevey's Restaurant And Sports Bar  on Gallows Rd. in Falls Church, Virgina (703-560-8530).   Owner Kevin Grevey once played for the 1978 world championWashington Bullets, and prior to that, the University of Kentucky Wildcats.  Grevey's has 36 TVs and an outdoor patio too!  It's just off the Rt. 50 West exit from the beltway (Rt 495 in VA) in the the Yorktowne Shopping Center on Gallows Road right by Merrifield Multiplex and the Sir Walter Raleigh Inn.  Click for a map to Grevey's Restaurant And Sports Bar.

• Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery  at 4238 Wilson Blvd. in the Ballston area of Arlington, Virginia (703-516-7688).  Rock Bottom is across from the Ballston Metro station, in the Ballston Mall - with a cheap parking garage right next to it.  They have a wide range of American fare and there is NO COVER.  Click for a map to Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.

• The Shark Club  at 14114 Lee Highway in the Newgate Shopping Center in Centreville Virginia (703-266-1888).  The Shark Club is a really great place to see live music - the place is upscale and can hold about 400 people.  They have a full menu and good beers too.  Play some pool, eat good food, and listen to cool tunes!  Click for a map to The Shark Club.

• Sharp Shooters  in the Sudley Towne Plaza at 7753 Sudley Rd, Manassas, Virginia (703-369-3309).  Directions:  From Northern Virgina / beltway Rt. 495, go out Rt. 66 West and take the "Rt 234 Business" exit.  Proceed on 234 (you will be going South) for about 4 or 5 lights, and you'll see a Taco Bell on the left.  Take that left turn onto Sudley Manor Drive, then another quick left into the Sudley Towne Plaza shopping mall.  Sharp Shooters is immediately on the right as you pull into the parking lot (next to the Staples store).  Click for a map to Sharp Shooters.

Maryland

• Uncle Jed's Roadhouse  at 7525 Old Georgetown Road (across from the Bethesda Metro station) in Bethesda, Maryland (301- 913-0026).  "Southern hospitality in the heart of Bethesda" is their moto.  Uncle Jed's features Southern style food and live music.  Pool tables, a juke box, a big TV, and video games too!  Try the house beer called "Uncle Jed's Hooch".  Check out the on-line menu and click for a map and directions.

• The Vault Night Club  in downtown Baltimore Maryland at 401 W. Baltimore St (corner of W. Baltimore St. and N. Eutaw St.) (410-244-6000).  The Vault is the place that used to be called The Funnel and previous to that it was called The Bank.  Click for a map to The Vault Night Club.

Washington DC

• Graffiti Of Georgetown  at 3263 M Street, NW Washington, DC (202-342-0406).  Don't park you car out front or it will get tagged by the locals.  Graffiti is across from The Shops At Georgetown (the mall) and they have great Italian food - it's a very upscale restaurant.  Click for a map to Graffiti Of Georgetown.
